LBP – The Exhibition – Paris

The project will take shape for the first time in January 2026 at the Italian restaurant Generoso in Paris, a venue known for hosting independent artistic and cultural projects.

The exhibition unfolds in three parts:
It begins with a series of diptychs by Khonsu, photographed in 2025 between Bajardo and Paris. These paired images reflect the two places that shaped Livio’s story. Placed side by side, they resonate with one another in unexpected ways.
The second section centres on the relationship between Livio and Domenica, the emotional core of the archive. Through family photographs and a poem in bajocco dialect, it traces the warmth, the choices, and the turning points that led from a mountain village to a life built elsewhere. Their bond, captured in images and words, holds the tension between love and departure, distance and return.
The final section features a close-up diptych of Livio’s portrait and a poem filled with longing and clarity. It speaks directly to the experience of leaving the place where one is born in search of one’s own path – a decision that is difficult, sometimes necessary, and deeply felt.
The exhibition does not follow a linear path. It invites the visitor to navigate through places, times, and relationships that resist a single narrative. At its centre is a personal story, but one that touches on broader themes: migration, love, language, and the traces we leave behind.
